Lovely venue. Very nice inside with nice views. Meals were reasonably priced, great quality and were out in a reasonable amount of time. Staff were nice but not overly 'children friendly'.
Called in to the Riviera Hotel Friday and was amazed at the friendly service and then we were blown away by the gorgeous food. The team at the hotel have every aspect just right! Well done. There are lots of restaurants/hotels who need to emulate your friendliness, eye for detail and good service. Already planning our return.
Friendly hosts invited us to join a social pool comp which was a lot of fun.Recently renovated accommodation upstairs was very comfortable and inexpensive.We would stay there again.
On arrival JESS was very friendly and welcoming, We were very impressed by the reception and dining area. Our room was clean and bright. We had dinner in the dining room and the meal was great. Not expensive. All the staff are warm and friendly. Would definitely go back, the new owners have done a great job. Oh and I love your TV ads!
I have been to the Riviera Hotel maybe more than 20 times over the years and am never disappointed. The food is excellent being fresh and correctly cooked. The steaks are tender and of decent size and cooked as per request. Fish is fresh and not over cooked with a light batter. I have chips by choice but my wife usually has vegetables but sometimes chips and salad. The staff are simply great being a family business. The meals are neither cheap or expensive but as always I would prefer to pay for a good steak of reasonable size that is tender than save a few dollars and be disappointed. Before they renovated and started advertising it over the last 2 years the meals were just as good but before you could simply drop in but now pays to book ahead because it is now so popular most likely because of their great food and pleasant staff.
